Alan,
A long walk down Jefferson. Observer. Pussied out, because it's so far, and so many prior obligations.
Excuses, at least. To have them and make use of them when needed.
Otherwise, I'd be in JC and not here. Or somewhere else.
They followed me, I know

Alan,
List of reasons why I'll be in research forever and ever 1) I get paid to think.

Alan,
Next month they'll give us two moons. Or one, depending where you are. The relativity aspect ruins things.
So does this mixtape. The cover says "2005", right? Sometime in November? One and one half years ago or more a thing happened to a person and the world kept turning.
Say there's nobility in pushing mountains, but that still won't make them move.

Alan,
The rain finally stopped. A long weekend. Three nights in Jersey City. So much walking.
Finally my peanut butter and jelly. Up late again. Oops.
Australian wine is death. At least some progress writing.
Apparently this semester ends soon. Very soon.

Alan,
Gone crazy locked inside for so long from so much poor weather. Nasty storm. Nasty.
A picnic when dry. Peanut butter and jelly. Chocolate milk.
Semester's coming to an easy close. Then, working on social networks until July 4. I think I'd rather stay home for the Fourth, but if they want to drive across that works, too.
He called and may visit early May. A trip to Boston would be nice. Especially when warm.
Much writing. Hopeful scholarships. Sick of worrying about money.

Alan,
Bit of a snow day - at least the exam was cancelled. Would have enjoyed some hot chocolate, but settled for coffee instead.
All is wet and soggy.
Bio exam tomorrow, RA application is due Friday, appointment on Tuesday, RA interview on the 24th.
The woods are lovely, dark, and deep, But I have promises to keep, And miles to go before I sleep, And miles to go before I sleep.
The BSD lab has no positions available. How disappointing. The library never wrote me back, nor did Reslife about the open room (but I'm not so concerned about that). Not sure where else I'd like to work. Maybe for admissions, filing forms. I'm sure they need help this time of year.
Today is Thursday, and I have so much to do before I can begin to consider rest. Disinterest

Alan,
The intensity of these last two weeks has helped break a few layers. So
RA Application - hardly complete Discrete, Bio exams Red Shift Haven't read or written for awhile
I'm not even sure where my time has been going, but I've been getting stuff done. At least I've made it through a couple of chapters of Apostol and of Strogatz. Put diffy q on hold.
Started to implement the BPNet in Python, which has been MUCH easier - soon to consider the SOM. Consider a torus for the SOM.
